You put your bacon in my chocolate. No, you put your chocolate in my bacon!
Chocolate and bacon -- two great things that taste great together. Also great together: MOST BACON and the Vosges Mo's Bacon Bar!
David hosted a special tasting Sunday night. (Also sampled: Zotter's Coffee-Plum with Caramelized Bacon bar, which is not really worth mentioning further.) But Vosges is really onto something -- this bar is crunchy, salty and delicious. I'm a convert, although since they're not sold in SF (David had these couriered in from Chicago), it's mostly theoretical.
We (along with Holly and Hal) also enjoyed bacon-wrapped chicken, bacon-wrapped pork, and non-bacon wrapped grilled veggies. The white cake with lemon/raspberry curd filling was, of course a Hal concoction. We might be eating it again at his wedding, which sounds great to me, especially if he can whip some bacon into the frosting.

Sorry, ET. Can't picture of it being delicious.

RE: wedding cake... I sort of think bacon and butter and cream might cancel each other out? Surely NATO or some Kosher task force would intervene.
